DXG USA, one of the manufacturing high-flyers in the digital camera market, adds an all-in-one media playing device to its list of products. The DSC-521 Roadster Digital Media Player is a 5.1 megapixel camera, a video game player, a digital camcorder and digital music player and an FM radio. The cam corder records at a neat 30 frames per second and audio recording is crisp. The 2.5-inch TFT screen is a possible downside to users spoiled by PMPs with larger screens. The DXG Roadster comes with an internal 32 MB Flash memory expandable with 2 GB-capacity SD/MMC memory cards. It’s lightweight compared to other portable media players at only 5 ounces (142 grams) without battery. It’s priced at $169.99 at Circuit City and comes pre-looaded with four classic video games.
