A lot of people were really waiting for the release of Oppo Luna PMP since the announcement and presentation a little less then a month ago. Well now Luna (model V5h) got an official site (in Chinese) with some stats and details. Some people were expecting to see 4GB versions of this nice looking unit, but no such luck, for now they will be in 2GB flavor only.
As many predicted the price for this unit is still said to be 999¥ (around $129). The notable features are: 3″ 320×240 screen, microphone, FM radio, support for XViD, MP3 and many other video and audio formats, image browsing, USB 2.0 support.
The shapes are nice and slim, coming in at 3.4″x 2.1″x 0.4″ and weighing only 2.7 ounces. There are buttons on the side and looks like no rumored touchscreen controls.

I bought this 4gb version, a fantastic peace of technoligy, but i have some problems with putting my pictures in .JPG and movies in .AVI it gives a file error.
Is there anybody who can help me to resolve this problem,

I brough your oppo(V5H) when I visited in China last 5th sept’2007 .
I’d some problum,oppo minimp4 is uninstall,it shown “error” and I saw “trojen virus”
Please I want get new converter software download.

usually, trojAn viruses on an mp3 player come as a result of attempting to download movies of questionable nature onto them. (exempli gratia porno) avoid downloading videos of such nature and always check to make sure that the file size is reasonable for the length and quality of the video you are downloading. alternatively, don’t download movies.
many seem to have a problem with the error messages while trying to play video files. does anyone know why i cannot play .avi files on my oppo v5h?

I’ve got the same problem with the video files. You need to convert the movies with the file at disposal on the oppo website “converter software”. The problem is this software seems to be only in Chinese version. It can run on a western computer but without any good result (message error). If you run it from a Chinese computer it works very well. I converted a lot of movies with it. I really hope Oppo will allow us downloading a western version of this software because having a Chinese computer is not easy.

i bought OPPO MP4 Player Model : V3H Memory :2GB and its version is 07.69 and I didn’t have the CD which is used to convert video files and also the oppo player didn’t work by other avi video format and i need the software …
