Mio’s DigiWalker is a compact GPS-PMP device at 87 x 60 x 22 mm weighting 166 gms. It has been announced a few weeks back and is now available at Amazon for $350. The H610 has a clean design and the 2.7-inch touchscreen display and capable of 65k. The 2GB of integrated flash ROM and 64MB of RAM gives full detailed maps of 24 countries in Europe (you can use the H610 for the U.S. but there are some functions like the speed cam detector). It has an SD card extension, a headphone socket and USB port. For GPS, the battery lasts 4.5 hours. The maps and GPS software still leave the H610 with about 900 MB of storage for your video, music, pictures and games. There is one catch: if you’re using the H610 or earlier DigiWalkers from Mio to navigate France, you may find yourself in Finland instead.
