The Samsung SGH-F500 measures 116.4 x 50.4 x 10.7 mm and looks exactly like its dual-faced MP3 brother, the SGH-F300, with more video-centric media capabilities. It’s the first and, perhaps still, only mobile phone with DivX support. The video demo shows the F500 playing an MP4 video file, which isn’t bad at all - surprising bright and rich actually. WMV and AVI video files are also supported. The F500 also plays MP3 (with AAC/AAC+/WMA support), has a built-in document viewer, TV out at 640 x 480 resolution, 2 Megapixel camera and HSDPA wireless broadband connectivity, besides being a quadband GSM. As a multimedia phone, it’s one of the slimmest and best built for a pocketable movie viewer.
