The Chocolate would’ve been perfect, but for the time-being and considering that we will be serviced by Verizon’s MediaFLO-powered VCAST, the LG VX9400 close enough in looks and form factor as a temporary Chocolate surrogate. The VX9400 is a slider phone with a twist - that is, you can turn the screen to view your media on widescreen. It’s sexy at 102.6mm x 49mm x 18.5mm and although it does not have a touch panel like the Chocolate it does have other goodies like instant messaging, video capture on its 1.3 Megapixel camera at 320×240 pixel resolution and ate 15fps, and of course the VCAT service. You might have to get used to the antenna though. It’s available starting today for $200 plus a two-year contract.
