Blaupunkt to Release TravelPilot Lucca 5.2 in U.S.

Germany’s Blaupunkt will release TravelPilot Lucca 5.2 in the U.S. in Q3. The navigational system will include maps of the whole of the U.S. and Canada and will have full PMP capabilities and some additional hi-tech features such as 2D or 3D graphics capability for the maps and video play back for its rearview camera.

The TravelPilot Lucca 5.2 also plays MP3 and view photos and receives DVB-H TV signals. The nifty navigational device will ship with complete attachment features that connects with the speakers in your vehicle and a battery charger for your cigarette lighter. The software can accommodate travel planning with several stops and downloads information on speed camera locations.
