Aigo is one of the bigger companies in China that participates in pretty much every tech market out there: monitors, computers, network cards, gps, speakers and of course MP3 and MP4 players. So here are a couple of portable video players that are in the works now, and will bring up the Aigo’s PMP line to an even dozen of different units.
These particular players are targeting a younger audience with F989 going for the boys and MP-E817 for the girls.
Aigo F989 has a 2.4″ QVGA Screen, plays SFW and AVI at 30 frames/sec, and has a built-in 1.3MP camera. Some of the other features are: FM radio, MIC, e-book reader, photo browsing, clock, calendar, stopwatch, calculator, and 10 pre-loaded games.
Check out more cute pictures and what the girls get after the break…

Aigo MP-E817 is a compact and slim player that should appeal more to girls. The screen is also 2.4″ QVGA and also plays video, has a mini-SD card slot and comes in 1Gb and 2GB flavors.

Pretty cool, we think the kids will be happy. Pricing for these should be pretty reasonable too.
