Keomo, Dutch maker of the Datalogger solar phone, has come out with its first navigational device with multimedia capabilities. The Keomo PND (personal navigation device) boasts a 32-channel receiver, video and music files playing capabilities, image reader and e-book reader. The Keomo PND uses Smart2Go navigational software with Navteq maps and benefits from a SirF Star III GPS chip set/ The device runs on Windows CE 4.2. It’s currently only available in Europe for €179 and for another €40 you can preload it with a complete map of Western Europe. It will come out in the U.S. in May for $230.
