The DM-K803 portable media player from Shenzhen Deming Technology Co., Ltd. may not have benefitted from a professional Photo Shop artist, but the stylistic connection is undeniable. See the Chinese 5300-lookalike PMP after the break…
The DM-K803 is also a music player like the Nokia 5300 supporting MP3 and WMA. The 1.8-inch CSTN screen is cheaper to produce and uses up less power than the 5300′s 240 x 320 pixel TFT LCD. On the DM_K803’s side, it is a dedicated video player supporting AVI video files. The rest of DM-K803’s specs: Chinese GB, Chinese BIG5, English, Japanese, German, French support; 7 EQ modes, E-Book support and a built-in FM tuner.
Our second PMP is from OKFAN Electronics Co., Ltd in Shenzen. We don’t know exactly which Hiptop this PMP looks closest to. But beyond the exterior this pmp is very Chinese with up to 18 languages supported and playing only AMV video formats. Other specs include a 1.8-inch TFT screen; MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA audio support, built-in FM radio with 40 channels saved; voice recorder, and a “secret space” in your memory for encrypted data. Looks like just the thing for James Bond.
