Aigo E-868 Review: Pretty Good and It’s Not an iPod-Lookalike

Aigo as we have said some time ago, is one of the Chinese electronics manufacturers to look out for in the PMP world, if only because unlike most PMP manufacturers in China have not fallen into ripping off Apple’s iPod. GenerationMp3, one of the best non-English sites out there offering daily reportage in the portable player industry, have just finished a comprehensive review of one of Aigo’s most recent products - the E-868. The E-868 has a 2-5-inch LTPS LCD bringing you 720 X 480 pixels in resolution, measuring 80 x 61 x 20mm. We’ll let GenerationMp3 tell you the rest, we were pretty taken about some of the reviewer’s conclusions: the enamel-colored plastic casing is very easy to handle, user-friendly menu, all the supported video and audio formats, AV out and the rather reasonable price of €159 for the 1GB, €179GB and €209 for the 4GB - the price separating it further from other Chinese-made PMPs.

Video review reproduced after the break.
