Not everybody knows that Hyundai have been greatly contributing to the market of audio and video products for a long time now. Here in the US even less people know that Hyundai has a line of pretty attractive portable players, a line of which is now being expanded with the offering of the new NH-260.
The family of Hyundai PMPs is around 20 different products with solid design and NH-260 is a very good edition. The NH-260 sports a 2.4″ TFT (220×176), supports video mainly in AVI which can be achieved by converting your video from any format with their software. Of course there is support for picture viewing (JPG, BMP, GIF), but what this player is supposed to do best is audio.
Audio files are pumped out through high qualilty stereo speakers, there are some preset 3D audio effects, and audio can also be used in multi-processing tasks, meaning you can be playing games, viewing pictures, etc. while still listening to your audio files in the background. FLAC and WMA Loseless support will appeal to all audiophiles out there.
We will post more details about other features, pricing and availability, but this one definitely goes on the “want list”, that is of course if we lived in Korea.
