One of our favorite devices here at PMP Today are the combination PMP-navigational devices, and we’ve written about quite a few releases in the PMP-navigation-digital TV category. It’s pretty obvious then how much we love the N95. Even before the N95 was announced, we’ve had our eye on this cellphone/GPS/camcorder/PMP device. Now we have more good news from Nokia. It seems that Nokia is thinking of adding navigational features on all its phones - presumably all the new models. It is Nokia’s goal to be a leading manufacturer of navigational devices. One main problem facing Nokia is battery life when the SatNav feature is used. And on the horizon is TomTom and Garmin exploring an added telephony on their navigation devices, and not to forget Mio, which already has such a device and on the cheap side of the GPS/phone market. But hey, Nokia already leads one of the most competitive industry in the world; navigation is a warm up.
