Apple Also to Delay the iPhone: Personnel Getting Winded?
14 04 2007Well, I guess the iPhone is going to be delayed as well. According to the rumors, the launch of the much anticipated device will be weeks after June 11, the rumored and undisputed official launching date. Steve Jobs will not be able to raise the curtain on the product during the WWDC but later on in the month. July would be too late and would be reflect negatively on the product and Apple’s seeming invincibility (just theorizing here). So, possibly, it’s the last week of June for the official release date.
All the recent news are beginning to paint a very cloudy (read: pessimistic) picture on the iPhone. The Mac OS X 10.5 will most definitely be a hundred-per cent product, although it must suffer a little delay due to the fact that another Apple product is in trouble - e.g. battery lasting 40 minutes, user interface foul ups, etc. Apple is possibly getting a little winded and may have to face a very tough choice: show everyone, including the Apple fans that they are only human (human like, say Microsoft) or follow the advice of one very influential blogger, which is to kill the iPhone before it eats up Apple.
