The Speed OT9 only costs €55 for the maximum 2GB version. Physical weight won’t bore a whole in your pocket either as this player only weights 32g. The pocketability extends to the Speed OT9’s form factor: 64 x 43 x 13mm. It is sold as an MP3 player from the Speed site but it supports video playback for Chinese proprietary video file AMV, but you’ll have to make do with the 1.8-inch 65k-color TFT screen. It also plays MP3 and WMA audio files and views JPEG and TXT files. The built-in FM tuner is dual band - 87.5MHz - 108MHz (normal band) and 76MHz - 90MHz (Japan band) - and can record voice in WAV and ASF files. This is a Chinese product, hence the language support: English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese and included in the goody basket is a USB Cable, earphone stereophony, user’s manual, software and driver CD, AC adaptor and carrying pouch.
The Speed OT9 is also available in 512MB and 1GB version.
