The Portable Playstation video camera is a 1.3 megapixel camera mounted on top of your PSP and comes with a mic for audio recording and software for editing photos. “With summer around the corner and the ability to turn your PSP into a mini camcorder and capture all the best moments in your life,” says PSP marketing manager Stephane Hareau, “this is yet another reason to get a PSP and to take advantage of truly portable entertainment. It demonstrates yet again the potential, versatility and evolving nature of PSP.” It will be available in Europe and PAL territories (e.g. Australia and Newzealand) starting May 16 for 34.99 or about $70 USD. It’s bound to be released in North America soon after.
