Nokia’s 5 megapixel, GPS, HSDPA-enabled multimedia computer, the N95, may be going to T-Mobile. As we have pointed out earlier, the N95’s 3G operates on the 2100Mhz spectrum, which isn’t available yet in the U.S. T-Mobile, however, owns the rights to the spectrum. If the rumors are to be believed, T-Mobile’s N95 is going to come out very soon. A two-year contract will shave off much of the $750 retails price, and along with the subsidy maybe even full support to the N95’s features like its WiFi connectivity (T-Mobile HotSpot is in 8,000 locations in the U.S. alone) and the built-in GPS.
