Microsoft should be celebrating a milestone in its Zune Marketplace, the online music store for the Zune Player. Zune Marketplace is now only some 2 million behind iTunes, Apple’s online store. The information was spotted from Microsoft’s official press release on its new music partner the Gallo Music Group in South Africa (you have to scroll down the press release). Apparently, Microsoft didn’t think reaching 3 million songs available on its online store worth mentioning.
