There was no new Zune announced two days ago for the public, but according to industry insiders, a flash-based Zune was indeed released but only developers get to see the new device. Microsoft needed a lot of help from developers, was the impression of those who got to see the new Zune. Another observation is that this new Zune looked too much like the Zune now and the new Jukebox will not exactly make you gasp. There was a widescreen Zune too, which should be in direct competition with the iPhone when it comes out but internal memory is not it’s strong point.
