China MP4/PMP, New Products

PMC-V820 Tsinghua Tongfang

As China wraps up the Golden Weeks, we’re still getting a few offerings popping up here and there, and among them is this PMC-V820 unit from Tsinghua Tongfang. Ok, while not having the most memorable brandname, this unit will hopefully stand out in your mind as the one with a camera that will rotate 180 degrees, and one of the very few that actauly has a built-in flash.

3 Megapixels is decent enough, 8x zoom will make it even better, and shooting the video at 30 frames per second with resolution of 640×480 is pretty good also. The screen is 2.5″ LTPS (low temperature poly-silicon), it sounds fancy, and it actualy kind of is, it’s more common in higher grade cameras and monitors, so it should produce pretty good quality pictures.

A couple more things are two decent size speakers and rechargeable batteries (compatible with Nokia phone batteries). while we’re not sure what kind of storage size you’ll be getting for your pictures and video, we’re sure that it’s not going to be one of your cheapy flimsy products. Well.. at least not flimsy, since some of the casing and keys are stainless steel… yea cool, we know.

Check more nice pictures after the break…
