This is one of the biggest iPhone news yet since Steve Jobs raised the curtain on the iPhone and finally confirmed its existence in January’s Macworld. Boy Genius has managed to get hold of an internal screenshot from AT&T detailing a pre-paid plan for the iPhone. That means some of us do not have to sign up to a two-year contract with AT&T to purchase and, of course, use the iPhone. In addition to the post-paid (with a contract) and pre-paid tracking options for AT&T and iPhone customers, it seems there’s also a hybrid plan available.
This is all rumor for now, of course, but I can’t just help but comment on how much sense this makes. This pretty ensures that Apple will be able to meet the 10 million phones target it has set for itself.
