Zamm is a navigational device with an integrated T-DMB receiver that has just been approved by the FCC for the U.S. market. Zamm boasts a 7-inch 800 × 480-pixel screen and support for SD cards and even an external hard-disk drive. The interesting about this in-car device is the integrated DMB receiver. DMB is universally used in Korea for receiving digital TV signals and iscurrently still unavailable in the U.S. The States, in fact, uses competing standards DVB-H and MediaFLO. We may have to wait for the official announcement from the company for clarification.
