It wasn’t long ago when we told you that the P881 from Aigo is being released. The next thing we hear the P881 is sporting a new name, the “Patriot,” and has dropped its price to 2,899 yuan or about $379. It’s a little pricey but it boasts a 4.3-inch screen with an above industry average 720 x 480-pixel and 16:9 widescreen resolution with 16million colors. It supports playback in VGA quality: RM, RMVB AVI, Divx, WMV, MP4. It’s one of the few portable media players whether inside or outside China that supports Real Media. The P881 comes with a variety of choices with regards to storage from 40GB all the way to 160GB. The P881 is also compatible with MP3, WMA, WAV, JPEG, BMP, GIF and PNG and supports Flash. It measures 124 � 76 � 28mm and weighs 180g. It’s equipped with an AV out to connect with your TV or a projector. Video playback for 4 hours and music playing for 16 hours is all the 2400mAH Lithium-ion battery stores before recharge.
