
Sharp’s Papyrus PW-TC920 has a 4.3-inch 480 x 320-pixel ASV LCD display with a hundred-eighty-degree viewing. Sharp’s Papyrus line are electronic dictionaries with some added entertainment features. This time around, a TV tuner has been added. You can store MP3 files in SD cards for playback or use the storage for recording TV shows. It also supports JPEG and includes a feature that inputs hard-to-read Chinese characters. The PW-TC920 measures 132 × 91.7 × 24mm and weighs 300g. It’s slated for a June 29 release, priced at for 55,000 Yen or $ 450. Honestly, for $50 more, you can get a niftier electronic dictionary from Sharp, without the boob-tube capabilities but with MPEG and WMV support.
