Zune has suffered some price cuts courtesy of retailers. Staples has been the most generous to consumers giving $60 discounts on Zune players. It’s sure to boost up sales, but almost as certain it’s going to flutter Microsoft’s feathers. Zune was released on November 14, 2005 with the price tag of $249.99, the exact same price that 30GB iPods were going for at that time after Apple has cut the price. Not all stores are implementing Staples $60 price cute. Here’s the picture from Engadget:
BestBuy ($220)
Amazon ($209)
CircuitCity ($200)
Staples ($190)
Wal-Mart ($199)
