Look who’s been cloned. We’re not claiming Dutch-manufacturer Sweex has broken new grounds in design with their Blizzard portable media player. Still we can’t help but be amazed by its almost perfect copycat produced by Chinese-brand BENSS. If this isn’t a clone of this player, the Sweex Blizzard, we don’t know what “clone” means. The BM-851 has a 2.4-inch QVGA 320×240-pixel resolution TFT screen. It plays MPEG-4 and AVI at 30fps. Like the Blizzard, it’s equipped with an FM tuner and USB 2.0 and uses TF (Trans Flash) card, which is the original version of microSD cards, for memory extension. Firmware upgrades are available. Price only available when you contact the manufacturer.
Because we can’t get over the derivative craftsmanship of this clone, we’ve posted more pics after the break.
