First the really good news. Apple has managed to up iPhone’s talk time to 8 not 5 and definitely not 40 minutes. For video playback, you’ll have 7 hours of movie-watching, 24 hours of music playing, 6 hours for browsing the Net via WiFi and 10 days of stand by. This news lifted Apple stocks $3.83 or over 2.6% adding another $2 billion to Apple’s market value. Another good news, and no less important to the finish product: iPhone will now sport a glass screen. It’s durable with better optical quality than what users will get from the original plastic. It will also be more scratch-resistant, though we’re not sure how much this will add on the phone’s overall weight. The press release earlier today included a comparison chart wherein iPhone was put against the Nokia N95’s and BlackBerry Curve’s features and with two other phones. As a truly revolutionary phone, as a game changer, Apple is being modest.
