Epoq Multimedia is serious in putting Li-ion-powered time tellers on our wrists. The new EMP-CVWS-2 is the Sport Model and made of made of chromed stainless steel. The screen is a 1.5-inch 128 x 128-pixel OLED. Epoq provides plugs to the USB and headphone ports if you expect to get really wet with this watch. It’s compatible with MP4 (SMV) video files and MP3 and WMA audio files. It’s also a voice recorder, e-Book reader and photo gallery browser. Onboard memory is all of 2GB with an MSRP of $159.95. It plays 8 hours of music, but we don’t know if the watch runs on another battery or stops after the Li-ion has drained. It’s coming in July.
