Safa is one of the lesser known Korean manufacturers, but it’s done well producing one sweet player after another. This time we take a look at an MP3 player with a 2-inch 260k LCD screen, the V2. It’s a player with relatively simple specs, 1GB and 2GB versions are available, each having an SD slot for memory extension. It supports MP3, WMA, WAV and AVI video playback at @ 25fps. It’s very difficult to choose an audio/visual device especially with all the choices consumers are flooded with these days, but this one has got an excellent price point for a Korean PMP: $127 for the 1GB and $160 for the 2GB. The V2 has a built-in FM tunerand functions as an image and text viewer and game emulator.
