The iPhone is our favorite cell phone here at PMP Today, and with good reason… well, let’s just say there are many reasons and one of those is the iPhone’s 3.5-inch 320 x 480-pixel at 160 ppi screen. It’s hands-down the best screen on a mobile hone and we’d be darned if we forget that at MacWorld it actually plays “The Office” and better than on our old TVs. Now enter DVD to iPhone, a software that allows you to convert DVDs that you own into a file playable on the iPhone. It’s not the first software to do this for the iPhone but this one actually converts copy-protected DVDs. Conversion takes 45 minutes using the software’s new and proprietary Cyberspeed technology. The result is a high-quality format in stereo DC-quality audio. Just to be sure, DVD to iPhone has a free trial version. The full version will set you back $30.
Note: Apparently because it by-passes iTunes, the software doesn’t need to be Mac compatible, so use your PC instead.
