A lighter and slimmer PSP is coming out in September this year. Sony had other announcements at the press conference E3 yesterday, but we’re only interested in how Sony has lightened and slimmed down the PSP. It wasn’t very hard, apparently. The new PSP Lite bore no mark from the weight reduction. In fact it looks exactly the same. But we trust it’s 33% lighter and 19% slimmer. Another thing Sony added is a Silver Ice PSP to be offered alongside the classic black. Loading games and movies will be alot faster on the new PSP and a video out has been added for playing on a bigger screen.
The new PSP will come with an entertainment bundle that will include Daxter and Family Guy, plus a 1GB memory stick. No price has been announced.
