ZVUE introduced this iPod-looking 260 portable media player back in January during CES. The ZVUE 260 PMP supports WMV with playback at 30fps. It’s also compatible with WMA audio files and WM Player 10 with DRM. It’s form factor is a curious one at 4.16 X 2.4 X 0.5-inches (105.6 x 61 x 12.7mm) it’s a close relative of iPod fifth-generation. It has an iPod-like 2.5inch screen and a sort of click-wheel thingy in the middle for UI navigation. The plain-sight difference is the built-in speaker on the ZVUE located on the right of the screen.
The ZVUE 260 is supposed to come out mid-year, and it is mid-year. The price tag is a dirt-cheap $99. But going to ZVUE’s website, all we see are the fat 200 and 250 PMPs. No sign of the 260.
