Me and my big mouth. A couple of days ago, I let out my exasperation with regard to ZVUE’s new 260 PMP that was scheduled to come out this quarter, and now here it is. HandHeld Entertainment, the makers of ZVUE PMPs, has just announced the availability of the iPodish ZVUE 260, successor of the chubby 250.
Here are some ZVUE 250 specs: 4.2 by 2.6 by 0.5 inches and 3.93 ounces (sorry, this is a U.S. manufacturer), 2.5-inch 320 x 240-pixel screen; support for Xvid, MPEG4 and WMV (DRM), MP3, WMA (with DRM), OGG, JPG, BMP. It uses SD cards with 1GB thrown in, maximum of 8GB cards supported. This PMP has an upgraded ZAPP Media Manager software. Walmart price is $100.

$100?
Comes with 8gb?
That’s actually plenty. I have thousands of songs on an iPod and 10 full-length moves and it only takes up 5gb or so. Only, it was a $400

I believe it comes with a 1GB SD card, but the slot can take an 8GB SD.
