We haven’t heard from Aigo lately. Their new multimedia DAB device will more than make up for the long silence. With only 256MB in onboard memory, you will not be using the DT5200 to view MP4 videos. But if you’re in Beijing, you can view CCTV news and sports channels, BTV-1 Beijing TV and even listen to CD-quality audio broadcasts. The 4.3-inch 480 × 272-pixel, 16 million-color HDTV widescreen should give a pretty decent TV viewing experience. It’s a true portable device at 140 × 78 × 17mm with handy multi-media features like the 2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom. It’s compatible with MPEG-4, MP3, AAC +, JPEG and supports SD cards. There’s also a USB and TV out. With the DAB TV service, this player is a little pricier compared to other Chinese MP4 players: 2,700 yuan or $357 in US money.
More pictures after the break.

[...] The DT5200 may be a far cry from the Patriot UMPC, but Aigo’s latest portable media player is still rockin’ a decent array of specs for its size. This less-than-stylish device gets the message across with a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 resolution display, and features a two-megapixel camera, SD expansion slot, rechargeable Li-ion, USB 2.0 connectivity, and an integrated DAB TV tuner to boot. Users can expect the unit to play nice with H.264, AAC, MP3, JPEG, and MPEG4 files, and the video out feature means that you won’t be forced to strain those retinas if a larger set is nearby. No word on price just yet, but we’re sure these will be all over Chinese shelves real soon. [Via PMPToday] [...]
