Survey: 70% Zune Owners Are Likely iPhone Switchers
19 07 2007
Microsoft has pulled out all the stops - giving the Zune fresh new colors, modding it up with a Halo theme - short of coming out with a new version. Still consumers are not happy. Even worse, even Zune owners are not totally satisfied with owning a Zune. The results of a survey conducted by the Eagle Research Group doesn’t bode well for Microsoft’s player, even as it steadily improves its market share: 70% of people who already owns soon say they are prepared tobuy an iPhone. Swiping over music files is one of the main reasons cited by iPhone would-be switchers. Of the 30% who wouldn’t switch, 22% say they just didn’t like Apple, while 43% cite storage concerns.
