Meet LG’s LN790- Media-playing GPS
20 07 2007
Without further ado, we present for your approval the latest entry to the growing GPS market, LG’s LN790. It’s got a 4.3-inch touchscreen LCD (450cd/m2), Bluetooth support and allows viewing of images and playing of audio and video files (sorry, they didn’t say what particular formats are supported).
The LN790 has a Sirf Star III chip and an SD slot. It also comes preloaded with full North American maps, gives you streaming current traffic data, and allows customization of the GUI. Its turn-by-turn voice guidance feature lets you get to where you want to go without taking your eyes off the road. You want points of interest? You can have millions of them.
It’ll be available this September for about $699. Ouch.
