Just when your congratulating the Japanese in your mind for getting first dibs of the new PSP Slim, Sony went out of their way and announced (?) PSP Slim for the UK ahead of Japan. It’s a rumor for now but even British retailers for the PSP are abuzz with their good luck. “We haven’t had much information through about it, but we are aware that it will be coming into our stores at the start of September – maybe even late August,” one ofthem told MCV.

The new PSP is slated for Japan September 20, and will retail in PAL areas for €169. In the U.K. it will sell for £114.
