There are rumors coming from Korea about a plan between Samsung and Armani to team up for a fashion phone, much like LG and Prada did. If the Serene from Bang & Olufsen, which was made by Samsung, is any indication, we’re in for another interesting time here in the tech blogosphere.
The two companies haven’t signed a deal yet. Samsung is not all about conspicuous spending on unusable phones (Serene costs $1,000). Earlier this year Samsung teamed up with Jasper Morrison, the design company, to produce the SGH-E590, a 3 megapixel phone with an ultra-cool industrial design (only $300).
My theory, it’s going to be the Samsung F700 (a.k.a Ultra Smart) QWERTY phone with Flash touchscreen user interface. In a darker black, the phone does look Armaniesque. See the F700 after the break.
