Sleek Shearer V2000 PMP Promotes Transformers
28 07 2007The Shearer V2000, powered by an ADI BF533 processor, has a beautiful brushed metal exterior and a 3-inch 16 million-color low-temperature polysilicon screen (LTPS TFT) that looks terrific displaying “Transformers” content. I don’t even care if it’s shaped like iPhone, only smaller. We’ve posted a good helping of press pics with “Transformers” wallpapers, which you’ll get to see after you go through the details of the V2000. It’s a pretty PMP, indeed, with RM/RMVB and AVI video support and DAT, MPEG added after a firmware upgrade. It also supports MP3, WMA, APE and FLAC music files and JPG, BMP, GIF. Other features includes an FM tuner, LRC lyrics and TTS (text to speech) with a firmware upgrade, built-in BBE and SRS sound enhancers, and it’s also a FC, SFC, MD, GBC, GBA emulator. The best thing about the V2000, as always because this PMP is a Chinese-brand, is the price: 799 yuan or just $106 for the 2GB model.
If life is fair and geography doesn’t matter, they’ll have made a “Transformers” game for this player.

Update: This could also be the Ainol V2000. Hm?

I don’t know why this is called the ’shearer’ but it’s the Ainol v2000, i didn’t know it went by any other name, unless this is being OEMed for rebranding. We will have it on our site for sale within the next few days for about USD$140 2GB version.
