Bluetooth is one feature they should put in all portable devices. If you’re talking PMPs, communicating with other devices with better storage such as your laptop can be crucial in consumers’ enjoyment of the device. The Bluetooth Special Interest Group has formally endorsed Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate). Besides better power consumption courtesy of Sniff Subrating, pairing with devices has been standardized. NFC (Near Field Communication) is also in the near future with the new technology. Just put two devices together and wham, instant sharing.
