The multi-awarded Creative Zen V plus has been accruing fans from all over the world. PMP Today has been late in mentioning the video-playing version of Creative’s original Zen V but we’re about to correct that. An interesting development has just occurred in this line of Creative PMP products with the addition of a 16GB version. That’s twice the amount of movies and musi. Zen will probably be in the history books for the most part through their user interface that uses an hierarchal system to navigate content (Apple paid $100 million for this technology).
Creative Zen V plus has a 1.5-inch 128 x 128-pixel OLED display and supports MP3, WMA, IMA ADPCM, WMA DRM, JPEG and AVI natively with more video formats supported through software conversion. It also features PlayForSure support, an FM tuner and lin-in. It measures 43.5 x 67.5 x 15.9mm and weighs 43.5g. It’s priced at $399.00.
