As you might remember, Meizu will be offering the MiniOne M8, which is the company’s iPhone rip-off. Well, Shenzhen Gold-East Electronic has released the MP4-playing, JPEG-viewing MP046, a clone of Meizu’s M6 model with a 2-inch TFT screen. For your listening pleasure, it supports MP2/3, WMA, WAV and ASF files. ID3 tags and lyric display in 17 languages is available, in case you want to get your karaoke on while mobile. Line-in recording and an FM radio are included as well.

As is common among devices of this type, EQ and play modes (seven each) are user-selectable. You can also set a secure partition for private files, as well as use the built-in timer to define when you want it to turn off. The MP046 is plug-and-play for Windows 2000 and newer, and is available in capacities of 256Mb, 512Mb, 1Gb and 2Gb.
