Thomson A1, World’s Smallest PMP With 3-Inch Screen

French manufacturer Thomson’s A1 boasts a 3-inch 16:9 High-Def TFT screen on a 82 x 50.9 x 13mm and weighs about 87 grams. It plays AVI (24fps), MP3, WMA, WAV, JPG, BMP. The frame is stainless steel with the screen taking up practically all of the device’s front. Not much detail has been announced of this PMP, but spotted are an FM tuner(with recording), USB 2.0, 2.5mm jack. Price is $106 for the 4GB and $120 for the 8GB. China will get first dibs of the A1. No European release date yet in sight.
