Meet Shenzhen Ovito Electronic Co. Ltd’s KD-M518, a digital camera that plays movies (25fps for 640×480 pixels and 30fps for320×240pixels), supporting ASF files. Not a fan of this format? Well, it comes with software that converts MPEG1/4 files. JPEG files are natively supported, as well as MP3 and WMA. Video-recording capability is included, as is e-book reader functionality. This device is made in the same vein as Samsung’s VLUU i85.
The KC-M518 has a 2.5-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 480×234 pixels. While it has built-in flash memory (capacity not specified), an SD or MMC card slot can be “requested.” A USB 1.1 port is built-in. The device also allows TV-out in NTSC and PAL formats. It is packaged with a USB cable, DC adapter, AV I/O cable and earphones. Dimensions are 90×40x13.5mm.
