Chinese Patriot MV5910 Does Disney’s Winnie-the-Pooh
10 08 2007
Aigo, also known by the “Patriot” mark, has released an RM/RMVB-playing PMP with a Winnie-the-Pooh theme. It’s an odd player reminding you of a lunch box for a very tiny school kid. A front button is even shaped like Winnie-the-Pooh’s head. Stranger still, I see Winnie-the-Pooh (always wondered why this pooh bear’s name is hyphenated), Piglet and Eeyore but no Tigger. Odd because I’ve always assumed he’s everyone’s favorite friend of Winnie-the-Pooh’s.
The Patriot MV5910 boasts a 3.5-inch high-def screen (or what passes as HD in Chinese portable players). It uses flash memory and supports AVI, ASF, MPEG, and DAT (VCD) and VOB (DVD) formats, besides RealMedia files, as well as MP3, WMA with LRC synchronization. It’s also equipped with an AV out TransFlash slot. The 2G costs 1699 yuan ($224).

Thanks for this post. If it was available here, I would have gotten one for my daughter already.
I have posted a blog entry about this on my site at http://gadgetaholic.com
Thanks.
