Shenzhen Powtele has released the PMP-400, which keeps to the philosophy of simple design by having no buttons to clutter the front (we’re not sure of how the sides look, though). This is due in part to the device’s 4-inch TFT LCD, which is touch-sensitive and has a resolution of 480×272 pixels. The product uses a Sigma Design 8511 solution and comes in capacities of 1GB, 2GB and 4GB.
The PMP-400 supports a wide array of formats, namely MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, AC3, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, ASP, DivX, XviD, DAT and VOB. It also allows use as a photo viewer, audio recorder and e-book reader. TV-out is supported as well. Lucky you, the company includes built-in ports for SD and MMC cards, and for USB 2.0. Dimensions are 125×72.4mmx18mm and weight is 185g.
