Much like Nintendo’s Game Boy Micro (which it resembles) BOL-LINK’s BMP-900 is a device for people who want things simple. No fancy touchscreen or WiFi here, all you get is video (MPEG4 and AVI) and audio (MP3, WMA, AMR, WAV, ADPCM and PCM) playback, coupled with support for JPEG, GIF and BMP (with zoom) files and e-book (TXT with TTS) functionality. Hey, simple doesn’t mean short on features.
Inevitably, the BMP-900 allows use as a game emulator, supporting 8-bit FC/NEC and GB/GBC games using third-party software. It has a USB 2.0 port that supports charging, and is plug-and-play for Windows 2000 and above. As a plus, the OS can be set to English, simple Chinese, Korean and Russian.
