COWON’s amazing do-it-all PMP has been rumored to be released in October, a month after it is released in Europe (as Generation MP3 has claimed). It’s not a bad deal for the U.S. to be only a month delayed compared to the old continent. The COWON Q5 is one of those amazing devices like the N95 and the iPhone and even this Chinese PMP that makes new boundaries for their respective market and at the same time bring all these markets together.
The COWON Q5 is a 5-inch 800 x 400-pixel touchscreen PMP with WiFi, HSDPA, EDGE, GPRS and GPS, FM tuner, DMB tuner and only costs about $595 dollars. There is no fairer deal available.

I thought this was a great product (way better than Archos 605 Wifi) until the price went up from the this fair deal :{ I have been waiting for some time for more accurate pricing rather than speculation. The latest from reghardware.co.uk commenting on the IFA show in Berlin is: Cowon said the Q5 will arrive in Europe late September, priced at €649 ($886/£439) for the 40GB version and €699 ($954/£473xc) for the 60GB model. This was going to a great product and a decent price product but no, from these prices I am very reluctant on spending that much.
