I wondered where Samsung was going to release its F700 Ultra Touch phone, also rumored to be the future Samsung Armani. We saw the iPhone killer earlier this month. It uses a Flash UI and has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a couple more hi-tech attractions like the 5 megapixel camera and HSDPA connectivity. Newly christened Samsung Croix, it has a four-directional touch input, which explains why it’s called “Croix.” It already won Samsung an iF Communication Design Award 2007. We don’t get to see the QWERTY keyboard as the Croix, and it’s curious why Samsung is holding u in much suspense considering we’ve already seen it before. Maybe the number two handset maker in the world thought we’d likely forget a genuine iPhone killer.
Shots of the UI after the break.

No it doesn’t denotes any religious preference and the name is indicative of its cool four-directional touch input. he mobile phone includes a slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a 5-megapixel cameras and HSDPA connectivity. Pretty neat stuff but do you think it can dethrone the iPhone as predicted by certain mobile pundits? [Via PMP] [...]
