
The Apple iPhone is in the position to go over the 4 million mark by the end of 2007, according to iSuppli. The 4GB and 8GB iPhones have been purchased more times than BlackBerry, Palm Treos, and smartphones from Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, etc. combined. The total iPhone sales on its first month took up 1.8% of all handset sales in the U.S. Already, the iPhone has surpassed all of Apple’s expectations (Jobs had predicted the iPhone could take 1% of the U.S. handset market).
