Classics never go out of style, and the new iPod Classic proves that a “basic” iPod can come with a lot of personality and all the features you could want in a PMP. In terms of physical appearance, the new iPod is thinner and made entirely out of metal (aluminum most likely). But don’t let its compact appearance fool you; it has ample space to hold all your music, videos, audiobooks, and files. The new iPod comes with 80GB (20,000 songs) and 160GB (40,000 songs) of storage.
Besides an improved interface, the iPod classic comes with other amazing new features. With the Cover Flow feature, you can browse through your music library according to the album cover. You can also buy TV show episodes and movies from the iTunes store and watch them on the iPod’s 2.5-inch color screen. It can even hold up to 25,000 photos from your Mac or PC; just use the click wheel to scroll through the thumbnails the same way you would scroll through songs.
The iPod Classic is available at $249.00 for the 80GB model and $349.00 for the 160GB model. And if all the features listed here aren’t enough, check out the jump for a video on the iPod Classic’s awesome interface.
